Gamers Grove is proud to announce that we have been selected as a Disney Lorcana game store! When Rise of the Floodborn releases in November we’ll have a fresh stock of booster packs, starter decks, and we’ll start our first ever Lorcana league. What a wonderful day! Gamers Grove has been selected as an official Lorcana game store and is working to provide a robust in-store play experience. This means guaranteed Lorcana packs, decks, events, and rewards at Gamers Grove starting in mid-November.
Keeping it Local
Lorcana’s initial release was a resounding success with stores all over the nation running out of stock just days after release. The hype for Lorcana continues to escalate so Gamers Grove is taking steps to protect our local customers. These steps are:

Our Lorcana stock will not be listed online. This means that if you want Lorcana, you’ll need to come pick it up in person.

We will not be selling booster boxes. Instead, we’ll be using our allotted boxes for individual pack sales and League prizing.

We’ll be limiting packs to 3 per person per day.

We’ll be limiting other Lorcana products to 1 per person per day.
Ideally, these rules will prevent a quick selling out while also ensuring that Lorcana gets to be enjoyed by our local clientele.
Lorcana Release Draft
On Friday, November 17th at 6pm we will be holding a 3-round Rise of the Floodborn draft event. Entry is $37 which covers your 4 draft packs and the prize pool. Prizes are as follows:

2 wins: $6 store credit

3 wins: $12 store credit
Lorcana League Play
Since we’re now an official Lorcana store, we’ll be hosting league play events every Saturday starting Nov 18th. Lorcana leagues are 12 weeks long and are comprised of three 4-week long rounds. During these leagues, players will show up on Saturdays and play best-of-three Lorcana matches to earn League points.
League points are capped at 10 points per week and are awarded like this: 2 points per win, 1 point per loss. The cool thing about this point system is that it cares more about playing than winning as you can reach max points win or lose.
An important note: Slots are limited. We only have enough support for 16 league players! The league is $29.99 to enter. This price includes a Rise of the Floodborn starter deck and guarantees you 1 pack per week at a discounted rate ($7.99). Remember – you can only sign up in-store.
Lorcana League Prizing
Lorcana leagues are more about building a community than they are competitive events so prizing will be modest compared to our other games. At the end of each 4-week round, we’ll be awarding promo cards and pins to players with 3 or more league points.
At the end of the 12-week league, the player with the most points gets to pick two promo cards of their choice! Next, the top 6 players will receive official Lorcana lore trackers. Finally, the remainder promo cards and pins will be handed out randomly amongst players with 9 or more league points.
These prizes are in addition to the included starter deck and weekly discounted Lorcana booster pack.
