Zendikar Rising is the fall booster release for Magic: the Gathering that is full of adventure, exploration, and reward.
The Eldrazi are gone and since we left, the Roil is a larger threat than before. Extreme weather, large earthquakes, and firey elementals are becoming more dangerous every day. Nahiri is willing to do anything to get rid of the Roil. Join Jace, Nissa, and Nahiri as we adventure on Zendikar.
Zendikar Rising features four mechanics, two of which are returning. Kicker, Landfall, Party, and Modal Double-faced Cards.
With the Party mechanic, you receive bonuses for having a Wizard, Warrior, Cleric, and Rogue out on the battlefield.
Modal DFC’s can be played on either side and most are a land on one side and a spell on the other. Every draft booster will have a Modal DFC card, varying in rarity.
Except for the Pathway Lands – a rare cycle of lands that tap for a single color on each side allowing you to chose what you need when you play it.
Full art basic lands are back! These will be available in draft boosters and set boosters as well as a guaranteed foil in every collector booster.
Expeditions are also back in a fun way – as box toppers. Draft booster boxes and Set booster boxes will each include one non-foil Expedition. Collector boosters will have two non-foil Expeditions in every box.
Expeditions include 30 lands, 10 of which are the allied and enemy fetchlands.
